How much does a colour analysis cost?
You pay for fabric and a person’s time, or for a neighbourhood, or for a daylight still. Those are not the same sitting.
Studio prices move with the room
A House of Colour or independent drape in Britain is usually a three-figure sitting. Add-ons (makeup, wardrobe, a second session) push it up. We do not pin a fake national average. Read the studio’s inclusions: how many drapes, whether you leave with a fan, whether a friend may watch.
You are paying for north light, a trained eye, and an hour of someone looking at your face. That is why it costs more than a form.
The quiz is a neighbourhood
Season Palette’s web quiz is three questions — eyes, skin, hair — no account. It returns a neighbourhood of 12 seasons, not a studio drape. People who search “free colour analysis” usually mean they do not want to register. That is this quiz. The iOS app is a paid product. Do not read “no account” as “the product is free.”
The app is a still, not a drape
The iOS app reads undertone and contrast from a daylight photo. It is cheaper than a sitting because a person is not in the room. Cheaper is not “better for a wedding.” If the decision is a cut or a ceremony, drape.
Pay for the question you have
Warm or cool: white versus ivory at the jaw, gold versus silver, in daylight — free if you own the metals. Which of 12: quiz, then palettes to the face. Which fabric in the room: book a studio. House of Colour versus 12-season is a method page, not a price list.
